For certified divers, there are around 20 beautiful dive sites within 10 to 60 minutes by our local Dhoni boat. The dive sites around Alila offer you to see turtles and possibly an encounter with Manta rays throughout one dive and healthy coral reefs.

Manta cleaning station is just 15 minutes away by boat, and from November till March, there’s a high chance to find them there.

The best time to visit Hanifaru Bay is from June to November. Snorkeling with manta rays is a dream of many. However, because it is a protected bay, it is not allowed to scuba dive.
