Academy Divers

Who are we?

Welcome to Academy Divers, we are proud to be a PADI 5 star IDC centre. This means PADI have assessed us as meeting elevated service standards and we meet the requirements to offer instructor level training by our in house PADI Course Director. 

We can take you from your first breaths underwater all the way through to Instructor, if that is your plan. We can also service your equipment in our in house servicing centre and have a broad range of scuba diving gear in our shop for you to continue your diving career. 

About the dive centre

Our Diving Centre is based in Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax, West Yorkshire and ideally situated 15 minutes from the M62 with excellent road links to Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, the rest of Yorkshire, Lancashire and beyond.

Academy Divers are all about guiding you through the learning experience with a team of dedicated professionals. Above all else your safety is paramount. The pace of the learning process is controlled by you. You learn at your own speed in the way that is best suited to you.
