Halg Salmaan

Small inlet rather than a typical Marsa. Rarely visited despite the proximity and general mayhem of Marsa Mubarak & Shouni Kebier(Shunne). V shaped inlet with a deep (36m) sandy bottom flanked by hard coral reef walls North & South. South reef best dived in calm weather. North reef is more sheltered. Nice drift available via RIB past the edge of the South reef - Look into the blue for passing big stuff! Lots of Scorpionfish and pretty corals at shallower depths. Short dayboat ride from Port Ghalib
