The name of the wreck is Hellfried Bissmark but is also called Minos.
It hit a mine on the 8th of September 1939; 8 sailors died.

Minos

"Vapper" is the giant wreck of an Estonian trawler combined with a build-in fish factory. She is approximately 102 meters long and 15 meters wide and stands upright on the bottom on 25-26 meters depth. Where she meets the bottom small mounds of clay has been extruded from the bottom silt because of the pressure when "landing". Sea water in this locality is almost brackish - this has a considerable effect on marine life on the wreck - you will find no salt craving organisms here. The wreck is covered with blue mussels and seaweeds - common shore crabs crawling along with fish like bullheads and rock gunnels. Around and inside the wreck cod is quite common.

The bow of "Vapper" is majestic featuring a number of thick trusses hanging to the bottom. Swimming along bottom to the aft two large ducted propellers and rudders are found - here also the deepest bottom at +27 meters. At the aft a wide ramp is leading up to the aft deck at around 16 meters depth - this is covered by wooden planks and contains various machinery, winches and cranes. On either side two large smokestacks are found. The middle deck leading to the bridge structure is at 10-12 meters depth containing various kinds of access to the innards of the ship. The bridge is fully accessible through the open front windows and now almost devoid of any equipment - except a multitude of cables. The top of the structure is at 7 meters depth - a perfect place to hover and make your 3 minute stop on the way back.

Nice and easy dive site. The big boulders of white chalk is very impressive. Mostly small fish, crabs and seaweed.

Drive to Boesdalsvej. At the end of the road, park at the old chalk quarries.Go through the gate, turn left at the big "pyramid" and continue to the water.

Når i kommer ind gennem bommen, så kør til højre & dernæst til venstre, der er stejlt... kør ned i bunden, ca. 30 meter efter træudhænget, det er et godt sted at gå i, hvis i svømmer lige frem lander du i en gang som du kan følge rundt og lande nede på bunden, ved resterne af træbjælkerne da de gravede Kalk.
Når I er færdige, skal nøglen afleveres i postkassen på Firemilegården, Tåstrupvej 17.
Søen er op til 14 meter dyb, og temperaturen er lav under overfladen. Husk ikke at ramme bunden da du nemt hvirvler kalken op.
Dykker ture skal anmeldes senest én hverdag før turen. Det er ikke tilladt at dykke uden at have anmeldt det. I kan ringe til skovløber Finn på hverdage mellem kl. 8-15 på tlf. 21 21 97 43 og aftale nærmere om udlevering af en nøgle til bommen, så I kan køre ind og læsse jeres grej af, husk at køre bilen op igen. Der står fiskere (med fisketegn) så tag hensyn til hinanden.

Beneath the surface, you have 2 plateaus, one at 3-4m with rock bottom that you can sit on without suspended Especially a lot and a 9-10m with seaweed / clay bottom which are suspended a lot if you sit down.

From the entry point you can choose to swim left or right. To the left there is a wreck of an old customs cruiser named "Queen of Spades" which "accidentally" fall under tow. To find the wreck, so go down to the second plateau, at the exercise bike, giraffe and the road sign and follow the edge of the south (on your left side) for about 10min and you swim straight for it.

Mean Well diving location. The bottom consists of sand, which quickly moves into mud. There are small, little eels and flatfish. There is growing rødtang long seaweed and grass on the bottom.

Find: Run out of Refshalevej over B and W's main building and past the sailing club Lynetten port, and continue to the road swings 90 degrees to the left where there is a small pier. It is just before the B and W building dock. There dykkes from the jetty and north to the dock. You can also go down south (to the sailing club) there is a slight slope and a little sand to stand on.
