Beginner diver here, but here is my impression: I entered east of the 215 bridge. EXCELLENT parking and access. Very secluded and private, large shore, great parking. Very rough rocks, but fine with shoes. Very gradual slope, excellent for newbies... although visibility was probably 5 or 6 feet . I only saw two fish. Some interesting rocks/small boulders close to the shore. I went out maybe 100 feet from shore, but never got more than 25 feet deep, which was disappointing... great from newbie practice though.

Quiet lake used by boaters. Not a lot of hotels to stay in. It’s a small town. They have air fills at the Marina. Best access by boat. Lake conditions vary. Vis about 6 inches to 8 feet on a really, really, really good day. Also depends on what site you choose. A lot of the lake is river fed so conditions are muddy. Bottom comp is limestone in some areas shore line can dictate that. Center of the lake were the islands are seem to be the best. Boaters stop climb the rocks and jump and lucky us we find all those great things they loose, i.e. sunglass, money, rings etc…. Diving the coves can rewarding to, if you're in the market to sell used boat anchors. I don't dive there often but when you're on the water boating it's good to pull that gear out once in a while and keep in tune with your skills! DIVE SAFE.
