Blue Pools

The Blue pools are part of what is like a natural swimming pool, which gives and easy and relaxing dive. Great fish life, with angelfish being very common - the opportunitis for photography are excelent; also batfish, lionfish, gropers and coral trout. Loved it and just wish I was back there now and not stuck in my office! Heron Island is accessed by ferry, charter boat or helicopter from Gladstone. The island is part of the Capricorn Islands, and is a true coral structure with beautiful white beaches - nesting turtles etc.
