Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Bimoli wreck

The Bimoli was 100m long Japanese freighter which sank during the second world war (torpedoed by USS submarine Swordfish January 24th, 1942). It was carrying bakelite, which is still there. She now lies on her starboard at a maximum of 35m deep (top around 18m, propeller at at 30m). The Bimoli lies just west to Bitung, in the middle of the strait. Bimoli wreck is also known as Myoken Maru.
