Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Gran Cenote

Cave filled with fresh water, 26 degrees C. Open water in front with lots of small fish and lily pads..the Cenote tour has all the features of a "wet" cave. Vis is 150+ if you have the lights to go that far. Stay within 150 foot of open water unless cave certified and take a guide. 4 km towards Coba from Tulum. There is a big sign on the road on the right hand side. For snorkelers there is parking on the outside. If you come there for cavediving, stop the car by the entrance and pay the fee. Then drive to the entrance on the right side and park inside. There are parkingspaces available next to several tables wich makes it easy to don doubles. Gran Cenote is also known as Sac Aktun, Grand Cenote.
