Dolphins have been removed, a little harder to find rope. The rope you are looking for is a very small rope mostly covered. Have heard numerous stories about when the larger vessel sank sixties nineties unsure :-) either way it was a fun dive.

While this is a fairly popular dive site, please remember your safety. For the second time in 6 months, I have had to hoist gear up to the pier deck for exhausted divers. The combination of unfamiliar area and evening/low light dive have lead to anxiety and exhaustion. Please be aware. And please be respectful of those fishing from the pier, especially during high tide during the salmon season. Often it is they who supply the aid to get you onshore safely.

This is a nice relaxing dive! To enter you must set your gear on the other side of the sea wall and then gear up there. We swam to the fourth or fifth piling and then dropped down. I would say there was about 30' of visibility and no current. Great spot to see the little stuff and shallow enough to get great bottom times. Great two tank dive; one around the pilings and the second at the ship wreaks which have ropes leading to them starting at the end of the dock (The ropes may be covered by bottom kelp).

This is an old ferry pier that was converted into a fishing pier. Two boats lie northeast of the pier and directly north of the old dolphin. The west most boat is a 60' fishing vessel that was sunk back in the sixties. Ropes guide you to its location. Nice site; saw 2 skates early in the morning. Very little current and lots of fish life around the pier and dolphin.
