Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Plage du Barry
Mostly for snorkellers.
On this beach Barry in 1943, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Philippe Tailliez and Frederic Dumas realized the first trials of diving. A plaque (added Oct 26th, 1997) at the top of the beach (east) recalls this fundamental event that opened the doors to the world of silence.
