Ilha do Campeche

Interesting spot in the Santa Catarina Island. Plenty of sea life (tropical fishes, octopus sponges, corals, etc). There is a trouble thought, a foundation called "Asociación Couto de Magallanes", that in the past used to take care of the island, now limits the access to some diving places in the island (unless you pay them) using the excuse that they are archeological places but they are not. By boat from "praia do Armação". Local fishermen take tourist to the island. Once in the island you can access the different diving places on foot or swimming (the island is quite small). Ilha do Campeche is also known as Campeche Island.
