Snorkeling and Scuba Diving at Malak

The reef wall is covered well and goes down to 50m. The best offers depth in the range of 20-25m this is the UW-life in full swing. Sharks and dolphins have been seen here. Malak should be dived by experienced divers as the currents are very unpredictable. They tend to go quickly and come back in part not only in the opposite direction, but also by pressing up or down. Malak is a dive site approximately 2 hours northeast of El Gouna. He is very vulnerable and can only be approached in a calm sea. The flow comes mostly from the north and can be sometimes very strong, so there are offers to do a drift dive too. Malak is also known as Gubal Kebira.
