Mooring on a floating ball the depth is around 40 feet.
Then a big tunnel around 90 feet takes you exiting out on a steep wall going too deep for divers.

Hole in the Wall

This was the forth mooring and dive site on the Southern Bahamas itinerary for the Nekton Pilot (a live aboard dive boat), for a trip taken in late March 1998.  Highly recommended.   

Halloween Reef is a series of reefs lined up with a sandy bottom in between them.  The reefs end at a wall, which drops off sharply into water too deep for recreational diving.  

Access is by boat.
Site has a mooring pin on top of the reef (as of March 1998)

Telephone Pole is a 0-star rated scuba dive and snorkel destination in Bahamas, San Salvador which is accessible from shore based on 0 ratings.

The place is a wall going down till 200 feet and more...

The spot is located directly offshore of the airport runway (runaway 10).

Runaway 10

Very white sands.  Nice, shallow, no-limit dive.  I believe it would be a good candidate site for a first-time night diver (training).

Not much marine life on our visit, but was told the site is usually more active.

Snowfields

This dive site is basically a series of small islands on a sandy bottom.  Beyond this, a wall drops off to depths exceeding the limits of recreational diving.  Very nice dive!

Conception Island in the Bahamas is uninhabited.  Access is by boat only.
