#1 - Tête de la vache
France, Rhone-Alpes, Bourget lake
Small drop-off for low level divers. Sealife is interesting for first-dives in the lake.
West side of the Bourget Lake, between La Chapelle-du-Mont-du-Chat and Bourdeau.
Tête de la vache is also known as Tahïti.
#2 - Chatillon
France, Rhone-Alpes, Bourget lake
Deep dive with a great wall (drop-off and a cave near 40m). Life is good near the surface for deco.
Just take care of the boat traffic, the Chatillon harbour is just nearby.
South of the Chatillon castle point, access by Chatillon harbour.
#3 - Nantua - Plage de Port
France, Rhone-Alpes
Some fishes in the first meters, then a barge right to the entrance wall at 27 m. There is also an old motobike at 20 m. Viz is poor, cos of the muddy floor.
Nantua lake, between Bourg en Bresse and Geneva. The dive site is on the southwest side, in Le Port village.
#4 - Plage des Meuniers
France, Rhone-Alpes, Bourget lake
The interest of this site is to dive the crack (from 30m to 60m). There is very few interests of diving before 30m deep.

#5 - The France Wreck
France, Rhone-Alpes, Annecy Lake
This 47m long paddle wheel boat was lauched May 13, 1909. She sank March 13, 1971. This is a very nice wreck.
Water temp: between 4°C and 7°C !!
In the middle of the lake, face to Annecy. Possible personnal boat departure from Marquisats beach, Sévrier or Veyrier-du-lac.
The France Wreck is also known as Le France.

In Bourg Saint-Andréol. It is only 50m from the other dive site named Goul de la Tannerie.

Beautiful blue water, very bright. The visibility was about 8 meters. We saw lots of tadpoles. Also nice for snorkling. Sandy bottom. Lots of plants along the shore and lots of small fish. Life under water is not spectacular, but it's a beautiful spot itself. Nice restaurant next to the lake.
Easy acces. It's along the D228. Parking spots close to the lake. Lake is situated at a hight of 1070 meters.

Drive from Grenoble, via Voiron, to the village of Charavines. The dive site is in the main beach of the village.
#16 - Baume des Anges
France
From Entrechaux, take the direction to Mollans–sur–Ouvèze, by the D5. About 100+ meters before the D40 crossing, take on the left a small road to the Pont Vieux (parking) and La chapelle Notre–Dame–des–Anges.
The cave entrance is on the right side of the Gorges du Toulourenc, approx 150m after La chapelle de Notre-Dame des Anges.
Baume des Anges is also known as La Baume des Anges.
