4The France Wreck
This 47m long paddle wheel boat was lauched May 13, 1909. She sank March 13, 1971. This is a very nice wreck. Water temp: between 4°C and 7°C !! In the middle of the lake, face to Annecy. Possible personnal boat departure from Marquisats beach, Sévrier or Veyrier-du-lac. The France Wreck is also known as Le France.

5Lac de Montriond
Beautiful blue water, very bright. The visibility was about 8 meters. We saw lots of tadpoles. Also nice for snorkling. Sandy bottom. Lots of plants along the shore and lots of small fish. Life under water is not spectacular, but it's a beautiful spot itself. Nice restaurant next to the lake. Easy acces. It's along the D228. Parking spots close to the lake. Lake is situated at a hight of 1070 meters.
