Roatan Divers is an award-winning dive operator based in West End. As a boutique operation, we cater to small groups and focus on personal attention, comfort, safety and environmental responsibility. We have our own docks for easy boarding, four custom designed dive boats and keep our groups and service very personal.

Utila, in the Bay Islands of Honduras, has one of the most reliably present populations of whale sharks to be found anywhere in the world. During the two major whale shark seasons of the year whale sharks can be found almost every day less than 1 mile from the coast of Utila. This closeness to the island reefs allows us to include whale shark safaris with dive trips using the surface intervals between dives to snorkel with these huge sharks.

Utila, the smallest of the Bay Islands, offers a wide variety of easily accessible dive sites with varying underwater terrains. Sitting at the edge of the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere, Utila’s waters are teaming with colorful marine life. Utila has over 100 charted dive sites which include sea mounts, shallow fringing reefs and plunging walls that circumnavigate the Cayman Trench.

The shallow fissures with sandy bottoms and beautiful purple coral gardens just off Utopia’s shores will antalize shore divers. Utila’s crystal blue waters host over 90% of marine inhabitants found in the Caribbean, including schools of Blue Tangs, Southern Sennetes, and scores of other brilliantly colored Tropical fish. Everything from a myriad of juvenile reef residents to the larger Whale Shark, Manta Rays, Spotted Eagle Rays, and Moray Eels can be sited.

The North side of Utila is best known for its drop-offs, which are considered deep dives. The upper edge of the wall begins anywhere from 55-85 feet, with each dive site having its own personality and marine growth. Inshore from the drop-offs, excellent medium to shallow coral reefs can be found with diving depths ranging from 20-55 feet which allows both novice and expert divers to enjoy the sites. Utila’s waters also house three wreck sites in varying sizes and depths. With water temperatures averaging 80 degrees or warmer, gentle currents and 100 feet of underwater visibility, Utila will be a dive destination you will never forget.

Naboo Dive Center is located on the West Bay of the island, and offers 80 different dive sites, reachable in 15 minutes or less by boat.

Roatan provides an incredible variety of dive sites, walls, breathtaking plateaus, mysterious wrecks, unforgettable swim-throughs, and canyons, with an average visibility of 20 meters and an average temperature of 27 C. Mooring lines and shallow sandy areas surrounded by a coral reef make for easy descent and ascent - ideal for beginners and dive skills training. Even on your first training dive, you may see a turtle pass by to say hi!

Roatan Dive Center is a PADI Dive Resort that offers a full range of PADI Dive Courses and training from the beginner programs such as the PADI Discover Scuba with New e-Learning all the way to Professional level and over 20 PADI Specialty Courses. Our classes can be pre-booked via email and we offer all PADI e-learning theories for pre-study prior to arrival. 

We also offer Fun Diving with 3 daily dives beginning with our 2 tank morning dive leaving at 8:30 am from our private dock and returning after to dives and an adequate surface interval after 2 dives around 12:15 pm, followed by a 2:00 pm afternoon dive.

On offer is the famous dive site of Mary's Place, Roatan's signature dive site of Roatan, as well the Wrecks of the Prince Albert and the Mr. Bud, and some breathtaking wall dives and shallow reefs with abundant marine life and colorful flora and fauna.

Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands of Honduras, located between the other two islands of Utila and Guanaja. Roatan is the above water projection of the second largest barrier reef in the world. The main population centers on Roatan are Coxen Hole, French Harbour, West Bay and West End

Roatan is famous for its spectacular wall dives, sheer drop offs and giant sponges. However, its also home to magical drift dives, fascinating wrecks, incredible night diving and a reef oozing with crevices, canyons, swim thru's, caverns, sandy slopes, coral gardens ... yes, its got it all.

While larger pelagics are more common on the Pacific coast, Roatan still regularly hosts dolphins, reef sharks, whale sharks, whales, hammerhead sharks, and manta rays. Typical sightings include turtles, rays, moray eels, and a huge diversity of reef fish, many not found anywhere else in the Caribbean.

Our PADI Dive Center is located on the South East side of Roatán, Honduras. We are part of the Meso-American reef; extended across 1,000 kilometers and home to more than 65 species of stony coral, 350 species of mollusk, and over 500 species of fish that we visit daily with divers or snorkelers. Our reef is also home of the mystic whale shark, hammer heads, sea turtles and the black coral.

Located on the pristine East End of the beautiful Bay Island of Roatan, we are “off the beaten path” but still easily accessible for you to find us. You will love the location as well as our spectacular service! Marble Hill Diving is our full-service dive shop located with us right on The Resort at Marble Hill! As the only dive shop in the area we have almost exclusive access to seldom visited dive sites, many within a 15 minute boat ride. Our mission at Marble Hill Diving is to provide our customers with a hassle free, relaxed diving adventure in the safest manner possible. We limit our diver numbers in order to maintain a personal level of service. Our staff is well trained and we have intimate knowledge of the dive sites we visit in the area. Safety and service are key to Marble Hill Diving, all dives are lead by PADI certified instructors or Dive Masters. We do offer self lead dives to qualified divers. We would require a minimum of a single check out dive in a supervised group, if you demonstrate the abilities we feel are necessary to dive as an independent diver we will provide you with equipment, maps, and briefings of any sites you wish to visit. Arrangements may also be made for rental of a dive boat with captain, if available. We operate three dive boats from the property and will generally have availability to accommodate all guests. If you are not staying at the resort at Marble Hill Farms we would recommend you schedule your space on the boats at least one day prior to your planned dive.
