Welcome to Purple Dive, a female owned 5* IDC dive centre on the beautiful island of Nusa Penida! We offer all PADI courses and daily dive trips, all from our beautiful base overlooking the ocean and Bali. Join us and become part of the Purple family! 

Our Sorido Bay Resort is newly built. The resort allows our guests to experience Western style comforts in a traditional Papuan setting. Located on a beautiful deep lagoon and white sand beach on Kri Island, the dive resort is central to the most spectacular dive sites in the Raja Ampat. While we strived to create a resort that is second to none, one of the best facts remains that our house reef is ""Cape Kri"" where Dr. G. Allen set his record for 374 reef fish species on a single dive in 2012. No other resort can beat that!!! Also several of our other TOP dive sites are just literally minutes away (Mikes Point 10 min, Chicken Reef 5 min, Sardines reef 8 min, etc.)

The whole resort is built by divers for divers. On the jetty we have fresh water showers + a camera dedicated area (power 220V & 110V and running fresh water). Every bungalow has a back entrance with a back yard (privacy) with a place to hang wet suits and the like. All bungalows also have their own dedicated AC system helping you to stay cool from the Raja Ampat humidity. Once inside on your left is a 3.3 meter camera - video gear table. Two steps further is a large bathroom area with all western comforts such as a hot and cold water shower. This lay-out ensures the roomy bedrooms to stay sand free (especially your bed!!!). To reduce the sand problem and enable comfortable walking all resort buildings are connected by a 2 meter wide walkway which is lit by night.

Teaching responsible divers & ocean protectors. We are a small dive center in the quirky town of Labuan Bajo offering daily dive trips to the Komodo National Park. Our team is made up of highly experienced instructors and safety is our number 1 priority. We teach courses for beginners all the way through instructors and beyond. Bali Hai Diving Adventures, at Menjangan Dynasty Resort, is a PADI 5* dive center offering a fun and professional attitude to diving around Menjangan Island.

Temple Dive Center was established in 2019, owned by a French family living in Nusa Penida island. The name "Temple" was inspired by a station on Paris Metro Line 3, located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. Hence, our mission is to become the best underwater station for people around the world to experience and appreciate the underwater world of Nusa Penida, Bali.

Our center is located in the north part of the island which we have been lucky enough to have a direct access to the beach. By focusing on quality more than quantity, our rental diving equipment are all brand new and well-groomed with regular servicing done by professional. Additionally, there is no fun diving without fun, and all of our professional divemaster and instructor understand that. With a minimum of 3-years experience in the local diving condition of Nusa Penida, our PADI Divemaster and PADI Instructor will give you your best experience underwater as well as marine life encounter. 

Nusa Penida has 21 dive sites around the island within some of them are dedicated for beginners while the others are more challenging for advanced divers. Again, we have been lucky to be able to see manta rays almost all year round at Manta Point and Manta Bay dive sites. Gangga Divers PADI 5* Dive Center is based on the beach at Lotus Bungalows Resort. 

The dive center offers international instructors with an intimate knowledge of the local marine environment. Facilities include storage areas, a training pool, free WiFi,  air-conditioning, fish ID books with reading area . 

Two purpose-built dive boats offer on-board toilets, powerful engines, towels, freshwater tanks for cameras, drinking water, warm drinks and snacks.

On location you will do shore dive and will see the remain of a US liberty ship sunk during World War II. The wreck is fully grown with all kinds of anemone.

On one average dive you can easily log a dozen moray eels (of five or more different species), beautiful sea fans, hunting trevallies, neon rivers of fusiliers, a couple of stingrays and maybe an octopus or two.

Depending on the location, time and current, it’s quite likely to add tuna, barracudas, eagle rays, sharks (white tip, black tip and occasionally a grey reef or hammerhead), groupers, turtles and giant reef rays. In season we quite frequently see mantas and schools of devil rays! The most vibrantly coloured nudibranchs, frogfishes, ghost-pipe fishes, seahorses and tiny squat lobsters can be spotted when going macro.

Our daily diving is very flexibly organized, offering 2 to 3 boat dives a day. Each dive is a separate trip, coming back to the beach for relaxed surface intervals. The main dive sites are just a 5 to 20 min boat ride away. With our 3 speedboats we can move flexible with our divers and students to different dive sites. Also further dive sites like the Canyon - known as one of the best dive sites of Indonesia- can more easily be reached! Next to the prime sites, we organize special day trips to further locations and deep, tech wreck dives at additional costs.

We always make very small groups with their own professional guides, to cater for the differences in the divers’ experiences and interests! Following the local fisherman tradition, there is no diving possible from Thursday night 18:00 till Friday afternoon 14:00. So our first dive on Friday is just after 14:00 but then we still have a second afternoon-dusk dive at 16.45.

For rental equipment we only use top-model Apeks regulators with Suunto SPGs and depth gauges and Aqualung/Mares BCDs. We offer a wide range of masks, including masks with prescription lenses, full foot and open heel fins, shorties and long wetsuits. We also rent Suunto and Mares dive computers. 

We have over 90 tanks. Most of our tanks are the “standard” aluminium 80 cu ft size, but we also have smaller sizes 40, 50, 63 and bigger 100 cu ft sizes on request. Available with INT and DIN valves. We use two silent Bauer Verticus Compressors, which can each fill four/six tanks at a time and are equipped with fully automatic electronic Securus filter monitoring, so we have guaranteed clean air stations. 

Our beachfront resort Lumba Lumba Living offers spacious duplex cottages and colourful budget rooms, built specifically with our divers in mind. They are situated on Gapang Beach, next to the dive centre, widely spread out in our tropical garden, bordering the beach.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Arenui is a 141-foot/43 meter vessel that offers a totally unique setting to take your next dive holiday on. From their 'state of the art' Photographic Centre to the Outdoor Restaurant, you will be pampered in style while visiting the best dive sights in Indonesian waters.  

The Arenui features eight elegant cabins decorated in authentic Indonesian style to accommodate 16 passengers: master suites and deluxe cabins. All cabins feature either king bed or roomy singles, complete with a lounge area and individual air conditioning, mini bar and safety deposit box. Deluxe cabins have three portholes or two large windows while master suites boast seven windows with fabulous ocean panoramic views as well as private balcony with seating. Each sophisticated and tastefully decorated cabin is unique and was inspired by handcrafts of the Indonesian Provinces.

The Arenui takes a holistic approach to meals

Rather than the standard liveaboard fare, you will be offered choices from a buffet, an a la carte menu or a set meal. Meals include two breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Fresh snacks will keep you in diving form throughout the day. A choice of dining areas includes the expansive main deck restaurant and lounge area or the sky restaurant where you can dine under the stars or watch the impressive seascape as you enjoy your al fresco menu. Guests will be served many varieties of food. You must try the Indonesian cuisine. You’ll be hooked for life after one bite. All food and soft drinks are included. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased at an additional rate.

Keeping true to the authentic Indonesian décor, the Arenui features carved wooden trim throughout the vessel.

Visit the well-stocked wine fridge or other cold drinks fridge in the humungous lounge and then relax on the plush sofas as you watch a movie on one of the 2 LCD screens or enjoy the sound system. A wooden stairway leads to the lower decks that feature exquisite hand crafted panels depicting Indonesian cultural stories. Keep up-to-date with friends and family with the free internet connected iMac workstations. Charging stations are available as well as storage shelves for electronics. The Arenui features some of the largest decks of any liveaboard. The sky lounge is a favourite and has an outdoor shower, a wooden drinks bar, day-beds and benches fitted with high-quality mattresses. Get an outdoor massage or just relax and soak up the sun. There is also a shaded canopy area. However, for the energetic individuals, if resting isn’t your thing, embark on a land excursion to see a Komodo Dragon or explore dense Jungle.

With a full range of dive equipment available on site, the centre offers a super-fast speedboat, called ‘The Explorer’ or ‘The Flyer’, taking you to the best and most challenging sites in Komodo National Park, with a maximum of 6 guests and 2 guides.

An outdoor deck and seating area are located outside the dive shop; inside, there is a classroom and a toilet with a shower. A small kitchen with tea & coffee making facilities is also available.

As an intimate dive center, the team here are able to be incredibly flexible, tailoring the excursions to the select number of guests currently diving with them.

Komodo's currents create impeccable conditions for drift diving, perfect for more experienced divers looking for a challenge, or those wishing to gain their drift diving speciality. 

Each dive boat is set over two levels, with a shady and large lower level with fresh water tanks for equipment and toilet facilities. The upper level is reserved for relaxing and enjoying the scenery as you cruise to and from the dive site.

A speed boat is available to take up to 6 divers further afield. The shop itself has stocked gear available for rent, including equipment for underwater photography.

Murex Dive has been guiding visitors around Manado and Bunaken for over 30 years, with the protected Bunaken Marine National Park 35 minutes from the center.

Murex dive guides have thousands of dives in the local area and have taken part in marine biology and photography courses. Murex Manado’s pool is four meters deep and is purpose-designed for training.

Rental gear is a range of Aqualung, SeaQuest and Scubapro, all of which is washed daily and dried in an outdoor drying zone. There is a large equipment room to store your own equipment.

Wreck diving in the area is superb as well. The wrecks here haven't been plundered as in Truk Lagoon, PNG, the Solomons, Vanuatu and other well-known wreck diving areas. Most of these WWII wrecks were not seen by humans again until the day we found them and are therefore completely intact. Over 50 years of marine life growing on and around them has turned them in beautiful gardens. By special arrangement, Papua Diving can schedule to dive wrecks in the Manokwari area (on the east side of the bird's head). Although there are plenty of wrecks all around the area, the wrecks in Manokwari are in shallow, clear water with plenty of coral growth and sea life surrounding them.
