2Erinyadu
Easy entry from the dive shop with exits all around the island making for a nice dive along the reef surrounding Erinyadu island. From other places around the island easy entries can be made with the dive shop bringing your gear to the entry place of your choice. The shop took us in Apr 2007 for three dives to complete the island. Euro divers dive shop also has Nitrox available. Erinyadu Island lies in the North Male Atoll a easy 40 Min speed boat ride north of the Male International Airport. Erinyadu resort is the only resort on the island and Euro Divers is the dive shop.

3Prisca Corner
The reef crest at the corner slopes gently down to at a plateau at 10 metres with some bommies to shelter behind and catch your breath before heading out into the stream. Or you can use it at the end of your dive to look at Shrimp-goby holes in the sand or Blennies sticking their heads out of vacant worm tubes. The reef slope on the barrier side is a steep drop to the sandy shelf at around 30 or 40 metres. White-tip reef sharks will either be darting back and forth in strong currents or basking on the bottom when the flow is drab. When there is a reasonable current flowing, Eagle rays and Grey reef-sharks like to casually flex a bit of muscle. Around the corner in the channel, the reef slope is a wall grooved with overhangs fringed with the lacework of sea fans and adorned with purple, yellow, orange and pink spiky shrublets of soft coral. "Redfish" - Squirrelfish, Bigeyes and Soldierfish - will goggle as you drift by. Other denizens of the overhangs are Sweetlips and Morays. If you can manage, use a torch to look for Boxer cleaner-shrimp in the crevices. Prisca Corner is formed where the southern Asdhoo channel reef meets the atoll barrier. It's a fun ride in a strong current.

4Yellow Reef
pretty easy to dive and with a dominating colour: yellow. this one is more to watch the small inhabitants of the reef. nudibrances, scorpion fish but even moray eels, surgeon fish and turtels can be found there. south of makunudu

5Makunudu inside
here you have the possibility to encounter some juvenile fish if you come in the right time of the year. beautiful corals and lot of fish. you don´t evenneed to go deep as you have a lot of marine life in the upper part of the reef north of makunudu is.

6Washimas Thila
experienced divers only! woshi mas is hard to find. once you find it, you have to get down to 18m quickly, as the thila is in the open blue and if you can´t get to it you will drift away and end the dive before it begins. on the top of the thila you will have to grab on it and then watch the sharks. furthermore you will see a lot of pelagic fish by boat only Washimas Thila is also known as Woshi Mas Thila.

8West Point
makunudu outside is a bit more exposed to currents as makunudu inside as it lies in the entrance of the channel. so you just will be able to go there during inflowing current. many reef fish can be expected as somtimes nursesharks and turtles north west of makunudu is. West Point is also known as Makunudu outside.

10Madivaru Beyru
this spot is some kind of lagoon so that you don´t have to expect currents at all. therfore you just don´t have to care about sharks or bigger pelagics and can fully concentrate on all the life a reef has to offer, and believe me, it´s a lot! west of madivaru

11Blue Point
nice wall, but it shows some damages on the corals due to some storms in the past. normally you will be more focused on the wall, but don´t forget to take a look into the blue, as when i dived there, some of the divers even saw a hammerhead. west of summer is.

13Lankan Manta Point
Mantas in the south-west monsoon from may until October but only with outgoing current ! Visibility will then not be so good because of all the organic debris. Also white tips, turtles, Napoleon, snapper From a liveaboard anchored in Himmafushi lagoon on the other side of from Severak dive schools with maximum of 1 hr with a Dhoni. Jump in at the gps coordinate, swim to deeper water (24 meter) then turn right and hold the reef on your right hand until you find some coli flower shaped rocks sticking out of the reef. With the right current and season the manta rays will be there.

18Kuda Giri Wreck
Nice night dive site. Hardly any current. Napoleons sleeping under the stairs on the deck or under the hull. Leaf fish on the back deck. Lots of glass fish in the wheelhouse. Small stuff on the Giri, mantis shrimp, octopus, nudibranches. The wreck is on the east side of the Giri, close to the light pole. Kuda Giri Wreck is also known as Wreck MS Azieta, Gulhi.
