Tumbe Island Northeast
Nice place with beautiful granite formations and canyons From Chembeh
Simbabwe Rock
Very cool place! A pinacle of Rock with lots of caves going down to +100m Visbility is great down to 50m from where it gets murky. Big catfish down there!
Mumbo Island
Terrific site! 180min dives in the shallows are a very relaxing thing to do. Watch Haplochromis Kiwengi build their nests! Big catfish in the deeper parts as well as hunting Haplochromis ahli. Have a look at mouthbreeding females below the boat jetty! Try a dive around the little island. On the right hand side ogf the jetty there's a unique "forest" of waterplants. From Chembeh / Ask at "Kayak Africa"
Otter Point
Big boulders of granite rock. Lots of swim-throughs. Many aulonocaras and catfish. The visibility is rather low due to mudy grounds and slight current. Not as good as Tumbe Island but still worth one or two dives. By boat from Chembeh Village / Kayak Africa Diveshop Otter Point is also known as Otter Point - Cape McLear.
