Auckland Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and TecRec Center.

We specialise in Scuba Instructor training and have a range of NZQA approved  full and part time programs to accommodate anyone interested in taking up a career in scuba diving.

Where ever your interests lie, from learning to dive through to instructor level courses, then we have the experienced instructors and the facilities to take you there. In addition, we offer technical diver training through to instructor level on twinsets, sidemount and rebreathers.

Our Dive Shop at Auckland Scuba has a large retail area with a huge range of international brands, competitive prices and knowledgeable staff. Our on site service department provides air fills, tests diving cylinders and will keep your regulators and BCDs in tip top shape.

Dive Zone Bay of Islands have numerous options to introduce you to the wonders of the underwater world. The shop is located in the centre of the Island Bay Marine reserve. Island Bay Divers put forward the proposal for the reserve  to the Department of Conservation in 1988. After 20 years of hard work the rteserve became as reality. The reserve is approximately 5 km long & extends to a depth of approximately 40m.

Island Bay is one of New Zealand's top dive sites, and it is located in the heart of the capital city, Wellington. 15 minutes by car and 30 minutes by double decker electric bus (bus route #1) from the CBD. The shop is 20m from the final stop on bus route #1.

Island Bay's rocky coastline bordering the deep clear waters of Cook Strait provides an extremely varied habitat for a wide variety of fish species. The reserve starts just inside Princess Bay and extends to half way through the bay just past the quarry gates. This reserve has dramatically increased the number & range of marine life in the area since it's inception.

Island Bay Divers is committed to promoting snorkelling in the reserve. Anyone & everyone can hire snorkelling equipment and enter the the silent world of the reserve. This often the first experience the public has of entering the busy habitat beneath the surface. If they want we have guided tours but most people just 'jump in'. Anyone hiring equipment from the shop gets a full site & safety brief. The Island Bay Divers facebook page has a daily update of conditions for Island Bay on the days we are open.

Dive Zone is located in the center of Tauranga at 213 Cameron Road. We offer dive training from 8 year olds up to instructor level, and everything in between.  Our retail store has the largest range of scuba and freedive gear in the Bay of plenty. 

We have an onsite indoor heated pool, onsite service technicians, quality hire gear, tank fills and cylinder testing.

New Zealand Sea Adventures was established in 1990 by Tony Howell in Titahi Bay, Porirua. From the beginning, the New Zealand Sea Adventures name grew and became the leading PADI scuba diving training facility in Wellington/Porirua.

On the 12th of October 2000 NZ Sea Adventures was awarded the Wellington Regions only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre rating. After 14 years the NZSA shop was moved out to Kilbirnie where it remained for four years.

In 2008 we moved back home to Mana in Porirua. Here we have continued training excellent Scuba Divers, supplying the best dive equipment available and much much more. Having our own on-site dive pool certainly helps. NZSA is Wellington’s only Technical diver training facility.

We offer TDI courses from Enriched air/Nitrox right through to Advanced Trimix, including Instructor level training.

Darrell Bird came over the Coromandel Range back in 2004 and discovered this stunning coastal town of Whitianga with its many outstanding dive sites and opened his store in October of that year.

Darrell's vision and constant drive is always ensuring that he provides quality brands of equipment and operates a safe and fun based adventure tourism business. We are fortunate to have passionate crew of Dive Instructors at Dive Zone Whitianga who teach from Discover Scuba through to Instructor ratings.

We have a full service workshop where you can get your tanks serviced and tested, servicing of BCD's and Regs etc. Our retail store is full of quality products and we are able to put together great package deals.
