I live right next to Gulfstream Park and can tell you it is an ok snorkeling spot, but terrible dive spot. I have snorkeled from Gulfstream to Ocean Ridge for 5 years on a regular basis and see some cool tropical fish, plenty of nurse sharks, the occasional Tarpon, occasional lobster, sea turtles, octopus, snappers, etc. I snorkel the area out of convenience, but it used to be better, and now that I'm a certified diver I really wish there was more to offer. Our local beach and reef area was heavily covered by sand after the county dredged Boynton public beaches and the inlet a few years ago. Unfortunately, we are the ones that got the short end of the stick. You can't even find the boulders that were dumped in the Gulfstream area ~15 years ago.
