This Florida boy dove this in August. This site is right in town. It has paved roads right to the parking lot. Bring a tarp or something to lay out gear on the dirt. The cool 64 degree water feels good in the 100 degree heat. Good visibility, but not much to see but rock walls, toys and bones put there by divers, and other divers. It can get crowded with students groups. Time your entry with their SIT time and you will have the hole to yourself. A concrete platform allows for practicing entries or stairs with rail to walk in. Stella has a small shed for a shop while a big conference center with full shop is being built. This is a nice place to dive if you are anywhere close. Not worth a special trip to do.

Ocala Star Banner (www.ocala.com) had an article today that said this place is for sale. Water bottlers are looking at it, someone with the big bucks needs to save it.

Here are the correct directions: From Ocala go South on US 27/301/441 until the road split at SE 80th ST. There is a Sheriff's Dept Sub-station in the middle of the road. Continue until the road goes back together and do a U-turn at the next crossover and go back North. You will see the Paradise Springs mailbox on the right side. Turn right and follow the dirt drive back to the house/office. If you don't have a buddy and are in the area I am available to dive.
