This is one of the shore's better dive sites. Lots of parking off season (but pay the meters, parking tickets are $40+) Check your tide tables, because you need to do this dive at sack water. Don't bet on the tide tables, though, as this inlet doesn't tell time. If you get there early (about a hour before sack water) you can check the tide out. Just get a little sea shell and drop it in the water and watch what it does. If the water is slowing down get ready and just drop off the sea wall. A jersey roll is the best way in. Start the dive by swimming out along the rocks, but keep a eye on the current since it can turn pretty fast. Exit the water at the point were the sea wall meet the rocks. You will have to climb out on the rocks. If you stay low and go slow its not that hard.

Did the Lizzie Brayton annual memorial dive on 14 Dec 2008. The ocean was pretty flat with two foot waves, and water temps around 41. But only two foot of vis. The wreck was really uncovered. In spots inside the wreck we had depths of 20 feet. It was the most I saw of the wreck in years.
