Hanifaru Bay is also known as Vandhumaafaru Adi.

Hanifaru Bay

The nearly round thila rising up from more than 30 meter (100 ft), up to 7 meter (22 ft) depth. You if you look in the blue water you can see eagle rays, manta rays, or grey reef sharks. At the reef you will find a lot of school fish, like snapper, fusilier or a turtle. On one side of the thila is in a depth of 20 meter (65 ft) a little canyon. Sometimes the canyon is full of glass fish. Take care on your buoyancy, at the ground of the canyon are fire fish, dragon head, and if your are lucky a stone fish. The canyon is ending in a small cave, where you can swim through on to the top of the thila. Don´t forget a buoy your dive will end in the blue water. At the surface the dhoni crew will find a buoy easier than an diver.

Donfan Thila is located close to Dhonfanu Island, in the Maldives Baa Atoll.

Dharavandhoo is also known as Duravandu.

Dharavandhoo

Top of the reef is at about 5 metres. The Thila is long, but take your time as there is a lots to see. Lots of small cavs and canyons. We encountered plenty of turtles.



Nelivaru Thila

Protected marine area. Many unicornfishes, witch like to play with bubbles from scuba.

6 km from Eydhafushi by boat.

Dhigali Haa

There is sort of a passage "blue hole" in the reef, from 5 to 24 metres, which makes an interesting dive.






Madu Thila

Caves. Napoleons, tunas, sting rays, turtles, morays.

2 km from Naifaru, 20 km from Kuredu Island Resort.

Vavvaru Outreef is also known as Vavaru Outreef.

Vavvaru Outreef

The reef slopes down gently from the shallows until 12-14 metres. Huge coral blocks with some small caves/overhangs. Lots of softcoral. Good fishlife and turtles. Don't forget to look out into the blue water for pelagic fish.
