You can find many different kinds of fish in Idaho lakes, including crayfish, kokanee, rainbow trout, and smallmouth bass. In addition, Idaho lakes are home to many different kinds of wrecks, which offer a great opportunity to explore the state's history.

High altitude, great camp sites, and deep end is cold with fair visibility

Meadow Lake

This is a small dive site where there are many fish and other submerged objects. The things to see are mostly located 10-20 feet deep. Anything deeper and the bottom is just sand. To get there, park at Picnic Area B and set up scuba diving gear in the parking lot. The water is about 100 yards from the parking lot.

Nice area and not many people. Never seen any other divers just kayaks, canoes, and drift boats. Pretty cold most of the year but usually warm in July and August. Very easy access and not very deep.   

From the parking lot go into the lake and head south until you reach the about the middle of the lake were it gets more shallow. You can also dive right from the put in.
