The Angelo Patagonian was built in 1910 in England (Short Brothers Ltd, Sunderland). It was a 124m vessel, and was sunk by the UC-72 (german U-Boat submarine) july 11th, 1917.

Approx 12 nautical miles southeast of Yeu Island.

The John G Mc Cullough sunk may 18th, 1918 (torpeadoed by the U-74 german submarine). There is a transatlantic cable that cross the wreck in the middle.

The Sequana was built in Belfast in 1898.
This cargo left Dakar to Bordeaux with 665 pax.  It was torpedoed june 8th 1917 at 2:00 AM by the UC-72 german U-Boat submarine. 207 people died.

This 126 m long american steamer cargo was build in 1900 by the Union Iron Works, San Francisco. It sunk in june 1918.

This is a very long wreck, and you will need probably several dives to explore the entire wreck.

Two large rocks. Bottom made of boulders full of corynactis anemons.

Just in front of the beach named Les Vieilles, southeast of Yeu Isalnd.

This is a old broken wreck. The best is to dive before summer cos the seaweeds grows and it's difficult to see the wreck.

The wheel is on the south side, not far from the rocks nearby. The prow is completely destroy, just near the cliff.

Take care !!! There are some detonnator on the wreck.

Yusenquashia Maru is also known as Le Japonais.

A large small wall running south to north between the two rocks. A sandy area on the southwest side.
The north rock is better than the south one, including more marine life.

Rocks located in the Sabias bay, in front of the old castle. This is on the south side of Yeu Island.

The Sauerland wreck is a classic dive of the area. For those who knows what this means, the Sauerland is a German sperrbrecher boat of 7085 Tons and 180m long.

Finish as degausser and was sunk on 12.08.1944 by a torpedo across the destroyeur ORP Djorum along the destroyeurs Diadem and Onslow, he was immobilized by an air attack by the Coastal Command.

The Sauerland is a very well known wreck of local divers. It is located 23nm from La Rochelle harbour, near a danger buoy named Sauerland ! It takes between 1 to 3 hours to reach the area.

The U 976 was a 67 m long German submarine (type VIIC). It sunk march 25th, 1944.

16 miles northwest of Yeu Island.
