Named straight and simple - Goluboe Ozero means Blue Lake.
Small and extremely deep karst cavity : 256 meters maximum depth (40 meters avg) and just 15 minutes to walk around.
The water is blue indeed and absolutely  transparent: from 40 m depth you can still see crowns of the trees on the banks.
Dry  suite is needed (the water is ever cold  6-9 degrees Celsius).

Moscow -Mineralinye Vody by plane ( 2h), than aprox 200 km by car Nalchik direction.

The main sight of this object is the big stone height 15m, width 21m and long 35 meters. Structure of a stone for 70% volcanic breed. At the bottom there are ancient sea anchors which age on average makes from 80 to 130 years.

BOSTON A 20 plane of B-3 (A-20 B-30) of 12.04.1944:
It was delivered in SA under the law on a lend-lease under the name "Boston And 20 B". It was found in the course of search of other plane of this type.

The plane flew up from airfield on the Thin cape with increased (4 FAB-250 in a compartment and FAB-100 under tsentrolyuky) bombing loading. When performing a turn with cleaning of the chassis I entered the provalivaniye mode with sliding on a wing. The plane fell in water approximately in 1.5 km from the coast, Bodies of pilots weren't found.

Condition of the plane:

It is almost whole, lies on equal sandy soil at a depth of 36 m. The cabin of the navigator is crumpled to the left, is visible at blow about a bottom after flooding. The tail plumage is destroyed on a docking hub 372 and 3/4 (inch) of the line of a fuselage. Its elements are at distance from 3 to 8 meters. Sag in soil of 20 - 30 cm, Soil - sand. Outside the plentiful obrastaniye of mussels (5 - 8 cm), in a fuselage (in a bombing compartment) an obrastaniye is absent.

There is an access to a cabin of the pilot and a compartment of shooters of a back hemisphere where on the spherical hinge (not a tourist's fir-tree) large-caliber Colt-Brouning 303 freely rotates.

Remains of crew members, or ammunition and personal belongings it isn't found. According to the story of the eyewitness of an event Polyakov Alexey Vasilyevich (I died in 1995), B-3 was attacked by couple of Me-109 one of which was hit by fire of "Boston" and fell in water on removal of 1.2 - 1.5 km

Cape Monastery is accessible only by boat, so the sea condition must be quiet. Dive into the caves in a storm is dangerous. Better take a  motorboat. Boating from Partenit to cape is cheaper, but from Hurzuf more picturesque.

Two rocks in the sea is a card Gurzuf Islands - legend rocks - twins. At only 400 meters from the shore, they are an easy target for tourists of all kinds.  You can get here only by water: the oars, the pedals, the rubber ring, swimming or boating. Proposal exceeds demand.

In the times of the USSR, a top secret submarine base was built inside the rock situated at the passage into Balaklava Bay. The magnitude of this facility will take your breath away, it shapes an underground city. Semi-submersed, submarines used to enter the rock via two canals. The facility could accommodate up to 6 submarines at a time! This factory would shelter in case of atomic bombing and was capable to resist the direct hit of a 100 kilotons bomb. Every detail was in place for life support — food-stuff storehouses, dwelling rooms, kitchens, self-contained air supply system, diesel generators, fuel and water pipelines, underground railways.

Diving takes place in the underground canal, where the main waterworks of this base were located, including a dry dock among an assemblage of metal supports, frames and facilities.
