Astron Wreck

It is not exactly sure when and under which circumctances the Astron sank. Some oral traditions say, it was in December 1979, when the vessel travelling under panamanian flag hit the reef. The rumors about the reason go from 'drunk & sleeping captain' to 'owner wanted insurance money'. It is said that after the accident many habitants came to loot the wreck and take everything what was not nailed down. Allegedly some Dominicans still store there things in closets from that day.
