Koh Man Wichai

The HTMS Khram sank in february 2003 because Thai Navy sent it to a watery grave. Great Swim throughs, abundance of aquatic life. Great site for those New to Wreck Diving. Enjoy this one every time I am there !!

The wreck is located 300 meters from Koh Phi. Two Mooring/Anchor Lines that lead divers onto the Stern and Bow of the wreck.

Thai navy vessel, well prepared reef wreck, has swim through around engine and cargo bay is open. Vis is poor if tide has extreme movements.

Nice coral dive. The viz here is much better than in Pattaya. Good Drift Dive

12.5 nautical miles SW of Pattaya.

Ko Rin

The 60m steel freighter Petchbury Bremen sank in 1930 (a fire broke out in the midships engine room, and the vessel exploded). She lies upright in 60m of water. A very damaged wreck.

About 30km from Pattaya Beach, in the channel between Koh Khram Yai and Sattahip on the mainland.

Suddhadib or Hardeep as westerners call her is a real WW2 wreck. She was a steam ship built in Hong Kong 1918 for the Siam Steam Navigation Company, named after King Rama V's daughter Suddhadib and had a 3 cylinder 105.5 horse power steam engine. Length: 68.11 m, beam: 10.84 m, 802.97 ton net. She was bombed by British B24 Liberator Bombers from the 159 Squadron flying out of India and sunk 12:55 PM 1-Jun-1945. There are several unexploded 1,000 lb bombs in the area, 2 are near the wreck

This is a nice wreck, lying on her portside. The wreck is very colorfull, covered by soft corals, encrusting sponges and sea whips.

Do not dive Hardeep / Suddhadip if you are inexperienced. Check the dive tables and respect the currents when you dive the Hardeep / Suddhadip wreck, they can be Very Strong at times. Dive only within your experience and certification 

Gulf of Siam, about 150 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. To get there, leave from Samaesan, southeast of Sattahip. It takes about 30 min.

The wreck is located in a narrow channel between Koh Samae Sain island and Koh Chuang.

Ao Khai is the big bay at the south west side of Koh Chan. It is shallow, has no specific dangers and is well suited for beginners and training dives and also snorklers. It is also good for photohraphy 

Ao Khai Koh Chan is easily accessible by boat from the fishing village Samaesan. The boat trip takes about half an hour to 40 minutes, dive boats anchor in 8-9 metres of water. The bay is pretty well protected except for winds coming from the south

The Koho Maru-5 tanker sank first Aug 25, 1996, 50 kilometers west of Koh Chang. It was named Vertical wreck cos of its wired position (from 5m to 60m deep).
Due to the danger of this wreck in shipping lanes, it was moved in 2003 by the Thai Navy. It's no longer a vertical wreck, and the viz is quite low at this new position (between 1 and 15m) under the cline.

Hin Luk Bat 

The HTMS Thonburi was a 77.5m long Thai warship vessel. It was sunk by the French in January 1941.
Shallow water, poor viz and currents!
