Top Snorkeling and Scuba Diving in St. Gallen

Some wrecks and other artificial things to look, very nice for fresh water dive! By car, use the parking lot in the left part

Small road along the shore leads from Weesen to Betlis. Attention: theres only a 5 minutes timeframe every 1/2 hour for each direction to drive-through, as there's not enough way for 2 vhcls. At quite the end of the road, there's a parking area (parking fee!), and a sign leads you to the "Schiffländi". Follow this way for just about 50m and you'll reach the "Beach". Easy shore entry with just a few steps ensures relaxed dive. Be aware: when following the path for another ~150m you'll reach the "Schiffländi" itself (ferry to/from Weezen). Diving is prohibited in this area during ferry operation times!

Sandy floor with not very much fish; straight on a tiny "shipwreck" can be found here at depth of ~30m (indeed, we haven't, but was confirmed to be there..). While swimming to the west, after about 15m a wall begins, with a nice overhang. Quite scenic. Back on surface, the divespot provides opportunity for BBQ case of you've brought your charcoals & sausages with you. Right on the main street, few parking lots available. There's also a sign from the SUSV; further infos and overview of the divespot can be found on an informational wall. A ladder ensures a quite comfortable and easy access.
