#1 - Amphitheatre
Aghios Georgios in the Peyia district. Down a well-worn path in the cliff face and a stride entry.
#2 - Sea Caves
This is a great place for beginners having their first look beneath the sea, or qualified divers alike. Starting from the shallows heading out of the bay we will find remains of terracotta pots left behind by ancient mariners. Varies from 6 to 15m towards manijin island.
#5 - St George Island
By boat from Latsi ( Latchi ) harbour. West of the island can get guite steep whereas the east has lots of swim-throughs and can be kept shallow for the less experienced divers. St George Island is also known as Saint George Island.
#6 - The Stage
The dive goes down in steps to around 12 m then has a small overhang, a cave and various swim-throughs. A great site for photography. Across the land from the Amphitheatre. Down a steep path on the rock face ( can be slippy when wet! ).
#7 - The Channel
After entering water into a canal-like channel there is a small cave and a long wall. On return journey you have the choice of swimming on top of the reef at about 4m or staying along the wall. Behind Sea Caves tavern.
#8 - Dinosaur Bay
After entering the bay, swim out over rocks that are shaped like dinosaur bones. After leaving these turn right and there are lots of small caves and sink holes. Take a bearing on the way out, as finding the exit point is not easy as the terrain is fairly flat and featureless. take the turning opposite Spilies bar, down to the coast. A short walk gets you into the small semi-circular bay.
#9 - The Bends
Take your camera to get pictures of your buddy on the motorbike! Down the steep slope to the shingle beach. Stay with the clifs to your right on the way out. The motorbike is straight ahead in about 4m. To the left are a series of tunnels and caves, although some are quite small.
#10 - Achilleas
The wreck is of a trawler that was blown up in the 70´s as part of an insurance claim. The wreck is fairly neatly spread with the bulk of the wreck being intact. The visibility is fantastic and because of the shallow depth, very light. Easily reached by boat from Paphos harbour
#11 - Cynthiana
Visibility may change depending on whether and direction: While parts of the site may have not that good visibility (less than 10m), others can have much better (15m and more) at the same time. The site is accessible directly from the beach of Cynthiana Beach Hotel at Coral Bay, either via a ladder or via the beach itself.
