#1 - La Pilona
Spain, Costa Brava, Malgrat de Mar
La Pilona is a former loading platform of de former iron mines of Malgrat de Mar Spain. The platform is collapsed, but the pilon is stil standing. On the bottom of the see there is a lot of concrete and iron, which is a nice base of many little fishes and black sea urchins. You can reach it by a 400 meter swim from the shore or pedalo (for hire on the beach). A lot of children and people use the pilon for snorkeling and diving. The only problem is the frequent pasing (every half hour) of the Dofi Jet line boat.
La Pilona is also known as La Pilona Malgrat.
#6 - El negre
Spain, Costa Brava, Mataro
A rock barrier 20 meter deap.
Very close to Barcelona.
Cool dive full of marine life dive: shellfish, grouper, moray, nudibranch, ray, conger eel,red scorpion, cardinalfish, etc...
Lots of other similar diving spots in the area from the same harbour: El Negre, El Pessebre, El Vell, Els Congres, etc...
Park in the Mataro harbour and get to one of the two Dive Center.
