For us it's all about getting you out diving on the huge number of dive sites that we have in Scotland. We are proud to say that we dive all year round adjusting our dive sites according to the conditions.

It is our aim to get people in the water and diving to achieve whatever their goals may be.

The UK has approximately 19,491 miles of coastline to explore not to mention countless inland freshwater sites. We want to explore more and open up more dive sites so that people can enjoy diving not just on holiday but also at the weekend, evenings and other times that they're not at work.

In order to achieve this we offer courses, guided diving, expeditions, advice and assistance for the diving community.

Kraken Diving

#4 - Kraken Diving

We are proud to be the only Diving School in Scapa Flow, Orkney. We are here for anybody that is interested in exploring one of the best wreck diving sites in the world!

Here at Kraken Diving we are not trying to compete with other dive centres, this is because we know that everyone wants something different from their dive centres! So here are some details on us to help you decide if we are the centre for you

  • All of our courses and dives are carried out by instructors that have done hundreds if not thousands of dives on the various wrecks of Scapa Flow, meaning they have the knowledge to guide you and show you the best areas.

  • We pride ourselves on making safe  divers. Our experience in technical diving means we can provide a high standard of guiding and instruction too!

  • Each of our courses has more than the minimum required dive time in order to give as much time as possible for skill development. So if you want a quick flying course we probably aren't the school for you!

  • We start each course with equipment set-up to ensure we have the best and most streamlined equipment for you to use during the course and on future dives.

  • We offer a personal service and level of attention, with a maximum of 2 students per course or 3 on guided dives.

  • On our professional and technical courses then video is used as a teaching tool as part of the debrief.

As well as giving you more time developing your skills in the water and making you a safer diver and a better member of the dive team, this also means that you get more time to explore some of the best shipwrecks in Europe, what a combination!
