Pasir Tengah Atoll is located northeast approx 7 nautical miles of Island retreat (Bomba island). Pasir Tengah Atoll is also known as Light House.

House Reef of the Prince John Dive Resort

The B24 Liberator wreck lies on flat sandy ground in depth of about 22m on the south coast of the Togian islands. Since there are a lot of Mangroves close by, the visibility is usually quite bad. The airplane wreck ist still in very good shape and almost completely intact. In the cockpit you can see the instruments and the pilots seats, the gun turret is still in place and even one of the propellers is intact. The plane was ditched by its pilot during world war 2 because one of the engines caught fire. All of the crew were rescued with only minor injuries shortly after. Beautiful rocks / pinnacles formation; soft corals, gorgonians, schools of jacks, surgeons, Manta ray sometime, eagle ray, tunas, turtles, nudis. VIsi ok from October to March. Enter at the rock ( 3 mts deep) just in front of the point. Follow the ridge to the east, on it's North side. At the end of the ridge, cross east at 15-20 mts depth. Pinacle on the left, then other 2 pinnacles in front at about 25-30 mts distance.

A ridge 6 to 40 mts. Grey reef sharks, white tips, tunas,schoolof barracudas, school of surgeon, school of trevallies. Great fish life. Gorogonians, soft corals. Beware of the currents!! Visibility from October to April.

Dive resort with access to an excellent house reef and many nearby reefs by boat. Very good coral reefs in a remote and unpolluted area. Great variety of live coral with very high coral cover on some reefs and little damage. Moderate numbers of reef fish. Lots of macro stuff. Little current and not much in the way of big fish though the occasional shark may be spotted. Most clients are Italian as is the ambiance of the resort. Sufficient English is also spoken. Expensive to get to and to stay there though.
