Incredible cave formations and diving. No cameras allowed but there is usually a professional there who will take pics for $30-40 USD and you can decide to buy them after. I think about $250 MXN entry, but we went with coconut divers who arranged everything

Went in the afternoon for the first time (around 4pm). Normally we go in the morning. Conditions were amazing. Super calm and great visibility. Not as many turtles in the afternoon tho. Probably saw 3 and in the morning we often see 30+. Maybe it was due to the recent storm changing the shape of the site.

This was an amazing dive. Definitely the one to do if you can only pick one in the BVIs. The wreck is incredible to look at, and there is a ton of interesting sea life in the area. We saw multiple sharks and a turtle. It was also a pretty easy dive, and a bunch of my family went along with us and did it as a discover dive. We went with Sunchaser Scuba who did an amazing job and made everyone feel comfortable even though it was their first time and there were sharks around.

Snorkeled here in the afternoon, and visibility had gotten kind of low. Recommend going earlier in the morning. Coral formations were pretty cool though, and saw some of the biggest parrot fish I'd ever seen. Parking was tough though. If you get lucky there are a handful of spots directly next to the beach in an alleyway, but otherwise you have to park at Haena Beach (which also has limited parking) and walk down about 10 min from there. We probably waited a good 20-30 min for a parking spot.

This was amazing! One of the coolest dives I've ever done. The manta are 10+ ft. across and swim right over you. The way the lighting works also just makes it an incredible experience. Highly recommend. We went with Big Island Divers.

Saw a manta right at the beginning of the dive! Not much else for the rest of the dive, but worth it just for the manta ray.

Dove here once on a scooter and it was amazing. Visibility was incredible, although our guide kept saying it was the best visibility she'd ever seen there. There are a couple outcroppings of reef along the way where we saw two octopi mating. We tried diving this site a week later without a scooter and without a guide and weren't able to find it, although the visibility was much worse that day. The info we heard was to follow a 240 compass heading from the stairs at the far end of Keawakapu beach and swim on the surface for a good 15 min or so, then dive down and try to cruise at ~20ft until you see the tires/boat. Make sure you have a flag on you because you'll be swimming in a boat channel

We saw a manta right at the beginning of the dive. Didn't see much for the rest of the dive, but it was worth it just for the manta!

We saw 1 hammerhead off in the distance on the first dive, and a pod way off in the distance on the second dive. Happened to go on a calm day, so the channel crossing wasn't too bad. Otherwise we saw some barracudas and a giant spotted eagle ray. Would've loved to get a clearer view of the hammerheads, but it's luck of the draw in the ocean as always

A nice easy dive with great facilities. There are a lot of good reefs here, so I'd love to come back after getting to see a reef map to explore some new spots.

I'm not sure that this is worth it as a snorkel trip. The shallower areas where you snorkel have a lot less fish, and the better areas are too deep to see well while snorkeling. Going out on the boat is often a fun experience though, so it's worth it to go out if it's only time you'll be on a boat

This is definitely the main dive on maui, and it's worth it. the conditions are always perfect. 100+ foot visibility, and a ton to see. Tons of fish, sharks, etc. The only boat dive I'd rank ahead of this one is maybe Lanai Cathedrals

This is a challenging dive, as the depth is almost 300ft below, and you have to keep a constant eye on your air and bottom time. Incredible amount of things to see though, with tons of sharks (I believe it's a shark cleaning station), and just the sheer vertical drop of the back wall. Definitely worth it if you have enough dives to be eligible (most dive shops in the area require a min number of dives to go on this trip)

One of the best easy spots for snorkeling right on the beach. Great dive spot also. We got our OW cert here and come back often because of how easy the dive is and how much there is to see

Great reliable spot! Conditions are usually pretty good here, and it's a great beach to hang out at, which makes it great for a family where not everyone is interested in snorkeling. Swim out to the right past the cliff jumpers and there's lots of fish there

I thought it was a little overrated. Pretty deep ~100ft, which means you don't get much bottom time, and there's not a ton to see. Just a couple sharks off in the distance, but I think there's reliably a ghost crab here

Swim out to the right side past the parking lot. Just keep the wall on your right side going out, and on your left side when swimming back in

Entry can be challenging depending on the tide, be careful and wear booties. Tons of turtles though!
