Tui's Reef:An easy dive in 18 metres of water or less on a series of pinnacles close to Beachcomber Island. Often used for night diving where divers frequently observe Crayfish, Clams, Moray Eels and a multitude of other tropical marine life.



Tui's Reef

For 35 years the resort has been fish feeding here from coral viewing boats and this has bought about a fish population of great diversity and abundance. Both large and small reef fish, both solo and in huge schools, allow a rare opportunity to see all these fish at one shallow, easy and close dive site.



Jackies Reef

The corals are in superb condition at the Supermarket and give lots of oportunities to teach about marine life. Beautiful South Pacific Reef fishes and sometimes white-tip and black-tip sharks; occasionally green sea turtles.

Go to Ratu Kanu Backpackers or the bigger resort next to it and ask any of the two dive shops for exact coordination or an exploration dive.

Supermarket

Pinnacle with a swim through at its base. Abundant fish life including turtles and reef sharks. Many soft and hard corals.
The top of the Pinnacle sits at approx 12m below the surface.

Dive site can only be accessed by boat. Most dive operators out of Nadi and the Mamanuca Islands visit this site.

This site is a shore dive from the Manta Ray Island Resort. Access is easy made from the sandy beach.

The legendary 'Gunbarrel' – Not for first timers!

An adrenalin dive for the first part of the dive as you fly through an underwater canyon, herding the schools of snapper and surgeon fish through the narrow underwater gorge. 

Graceful grey reef and white tip sharks glide up and down the walls through all the swirling fish. The canyon then opens up to an underwater beach where the current suddenly stops and we pause and wait for the sharks to return single file past us back into the channel. Then a short swim through takes us out into the clear blue of the Pacific. 

The second half of the dive is very different – a leisurely meander over hard coral gardens and though a long, sunlit tunnel with a wavy sandy floor, before we drift up through the sun pierced blue to surface by the boat.
