Easy Drift around the island, plenty of grey nurse, turtles as well as the small stuff



Green Island

This is known to be one of the top 10 dive sites of Australia. This dive starts at 24m deep on the Southeastern side where there is a cave entrance. The cave enter the rock and runs for about 15 metres then rises vertically into a chimney where torches are needed. Often Wobbegongs and Crayfish are lining the walls and floor. The cave then levels out to a large dark chamber where occasionally Grey Nurse sharks can cruise along. Other various schools of fish crise the area creating large swarms. Spanish Dancers can be seen. There are 2 bubble caves within the horizontal section of the cave. The cave then exits to a section known as the aquarium where various tropical and coldwater fish meet. Divers should be aware as there can be a very strong current when exiting the aquarium section.
The cave length is approximately 130m.

The site starts on the south east of the island and ends on the west side. Boats usually moor on the south side

access from shore, swim out to stingray rock, about 75 metres from shore, around to the seaward side and then swim 5 degrees to the left of north until reaching 10 metres depth about 2 minutes.

A shallow kelp covered reef system surrounded large patches of sand. A couple of small pinnacles break up the kelp.

Bait Reef

A great easy dive. Maximum depth of 13m with the rock above the surface, a nice circle around the rock with plenty to look at. For the more adventurous there is a great fly over, but not to be done if there is too much surge. Marine life is abundant. This dive is popular with the novice and experienced diver



Bird Rock

This dive site consists of two bommies submersed in 18m of water, joined together by a natural arch. One bommie Comes up to 10m, the other comes to 6m. There are soft corals, sponges, nudibanchs, wobbegongs, PJ 's and a wide variety of marine life. A photographers macro delight, and a dive to relax and enjoy.



Cod Hole

This dive has spectacular growth on the rock, and is one of our best dive sites. Every time you go there, you will see something different. Pelagic fish are a certainty, along with the usual nudibanchs, and other marine life. If dived correctly you should get a good bottom time.



Wall

Deep reef system of 24 meters with a large flat pinnacle surrounded by broken reef. 



Yabbies

Cathie Wall is a rock wall that comes from a depth of 20 meters and tops is 8m. Coved in hard and soft corals of all types making it the best macro dive in the area.
