Basic training dive site. The dive follows the coast. First a bit of sand, than small rocks, than the 20m wall, than the 30m wall. Usual dive time 45min. Very nice sea bottom and a lot of fish.

You have to transport the equipment from the dive center to the harbour peer from where the dive starts.

The wreck of the K.u.K. Austro-Hungarian Destroyer STREITER. Built in 1905/06 in Trieste; 115t, 46m long, 4.6 m wide, 21-man crew.
On 04/16/1918 the steamer PETKA collided with S.M.S. STREITER and sank him off Lovran.

The wreck is very deep, with poor visibility, lots of fishing nets and mud sunk. Penetration into the wreck seems impossible. Due to the construction and age, strong symptoms of decay.

Very hard to find and a long time to swim on a dept of over 40m.
A very little wall (3-5m), before and after is only sand, but an awful lot of Scampis live there.

South part is a wall that has red soft corals at the bottom (-32 and lower), north part is sand after which fallows a -20m wall, good for beginners training. There is also a chimney from -8 to -2.

Punta Kinkela is also known as Brsec 1.

A wall that follows the coast. Anchoring is possible from both side of the point. There is a small pinnacle parallel to the wall which has red soft corals on the north side.
