Galijola

Mythic Galijola, a rock amid sea, maybe is the most beautiful rock in the Kvarner bay. It spreads in direction east-west for about 150 meters and it is wide only 50 meters or so. On the middle part of the rock, there is a lighthouse that warns ships of the danger. The best location for diving is its southern side. At 15 meters you reach the edge of the steep cliff. Its bottom is at 50 meters but it doesn't seem like it because of the clarity. Fascinating richness of marine wild life. Lobsters and various kind of big fish are regular sights. The wall curves and is full of holes occupied by different animals. A canyon, probably the most beautiful part of the dive is there to pass it through on the way to the surface.
