After 3 Years of travelling aroud the Pacific, Australia, Fiji, Samoa and New Zealand, Adam and Amelie decided to call Forster home! In 2020, middle of the Covid-19 crisis, we had the crazy idea to reopen Forster Dive Centre to share our passion, Scuba diving! Fresh new look, logo, shop and more! In order to give the best experience to divers and share a real personal moment together, we decide to specialise in small group diving. We want to make sure everybody has an amazing time and share our knowledge as much as possible.

Adam our Boat Captain and Instructor is a Forster local. Grown up here and has a very good knowledge of the area and local community. With a strong passion with community  based programs, he works very closely with the indigenous local Salt Water People. He also wrote a special program catered for kids with physical and intellectual challenges such as Down Syndrome and Autism.

Amelie, our lead Instructor, discovered the marine world when she was only 8 years old and from this day she decided to make The Ocean Protection her life goal. She learn scuba diving, studied marine biology, Reef Conservation and Protection. This lead her to travel the World and dived some of the most beautiful and most fragile reef in the world. After 10 years around the world she decided to share her knowledge and form the future generation of Eco-warriors. With the support of the charity Daughters of the Deep, she aims to bring more women into the diving industry.

Dive Lord Howe is a PADI dive center operating on the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage listed island of Lord Howe, a diving paradise! 

Lord Howe Island off the east coast of Australia, just a two hour flight from Sydney or Brisbane, is one of the world's most beautiful World Heritage listed islands surrounded by a NSW marine park. Warm tropical waters and cooler currents have created a diverse range of marine life, a unique mix of both tropical and temperate water fish.

The island is one of the most clean and pristine locations in the world, and the team are involved in regular clean ups with the community and are currently removing single use plastics from the island. Plastic bags, straws, etc are not available on Lord Howe Island.

Around the dive center itself, the sparkling lagoon bordered by the world's most southern coral reef provides a great opportunity to all snorkelers, divers and underwater photographers. The average depth of these dives is 5-8 metres and with longer bottom times and an abundance of marine life it is a fantastic place to learn to dive. 

The Admiralty Islands are located to the north of Lord Howe Island approximately 15 minutes by boat from the Dive Lord Howe center. This group of volcanic formations are home to over 30 dive sites with a variety of terrain from large pinnacles and boulders to coral walls and caves. The Admiralty group is a must while on Lord Howe island as here you will find large schools of fish, rare as we'll as endemic species, beautiful soft and hard corals, crystal clear water and depths from 15 - 40 m.

 Wolf Rock Dive Centre is situated in the picturesque little beachside town of Rainbow Beach, Queensland just a 2.5 hour drive north of Brisbane and 1.5 hour drive south of Hervey Bay.

 is at the top end of the Sunshine Coast just north of Noosa and our nearest neighbor is the world’s largest sand island Fraser Island.

Located just off Double Island Point, Wolf Rock has long been considered one of the best dives in Australia and a must do for your itinerary if you intend travelling up or down the East Coast of Australia. 

Additional to our world-class dive site, Wolf Rock Dive Centre offers a variety of dive courses from Discover Scuba Dives all the way through to Divemaster internships. We also offer a myriad of PADI specialties, first-aid courses and PADI distinctive specialties designed specifically for our special region.

Grey nurse sharks are found here all year round. The numbers vary according to their lifecycle and the largest numbers are always seen from Spring through to Autumn. During the winter months we get to see the humpback whale migration; manta rays can be seen at any time of the year but are more prevalent outside of the warmer months. During those summer months we are joined by the leopard sharks and we see eagle rays and giant Queensland grouper all year round. Apart from that we see three different species of turtle, schools of pelagic and we also have all the little stuff like nudibranchs, colourful tropical fish, hard and soft corals, octopus, moray eels, sea snakes and so on.

Whether you’re into wide angle or micro there is something here for everyone. If this sounds like your kind of dive, then we hope to see you very soon!

For Divers with less experience we have sites ranging from depths of 35' to 55' that offer very relaxed diving with little or no surge or current and outstanding visibility. More advanced divers would enjoy the challenge of the Kennedy and the Miss Opportunity. Certified PADI Divemasters and Instructors accompany all divers throughout the dive tour giving informative pre-dive briefings. They also point out unique marine life and any hazards along the way, greatly enhancing the overall educational value, safety and enjoyment of the dives.

Local weather conditions the day of the dive determines the best sites to dive. Normally, we do two dives in the morning; the first is a reef dive and the second is a wreck dive. The dive leaves at approx. 8:30 AM and returns at approx. 12:30 PM. Often we go to Buck Island Wildlife Refuge and dive the wreck of the Cartanza Senior. Another favorite spot is the Navy Barges, a great wreck dive with lots of intriguing marine life. All of our certified dives are guided with a maximum of 10 divers per instructor with no surge or current and great visibility!

Her custom features provide comfort and convenience for diving and snorkeling on her 2 day/1 night excursions. The Coral Sea Dreaming’s 3 English speaking crew offer personalized attention. 12 passengers are accommodated in air conditioned private cabins which include single bunks, and a quad share. The intimate environment of the boat requires guests to bring the minimum as storage space is limited. Guests are asked to bring an overnight pack on-board. Luggage can be stored at the office. The boat is equipped with 2 toilets, a separate hot water shower as well as a fresh water shower on the stern of the boat.

Between dives on this amazing dive safari aboard Coral Sea Dreaming, guests will relax and enjoy the breathtaking Australian vistas. Guests enjoy unlimited water time as they can snorkel right off the boat. Take a nap on the shaded sun deck, being gently rocked by the ocean waves, or work on your tan in the abundant sunshine.

Ocean Free + Ocean Freedom – Cairns Premier Reef & Island Tours are locally owned and operated by husband and wife team - Perry Jones and Taryn Agius. Perry has been in the dive industry in Cairns and managing dive operations on four vessels since 1988 including Ocean Free since 1992 when he met Taryn. They both worked the boats since then and purchased Ocean Free (a 16.5M schooner) in 1996. Having many years of experience in the industry, Ocean Free quickly became a well-established and respected company amongst local agents and the marine industry. 

They bought their second vessel Ocean Freedom - a stylish and comfortable 20M motor CAT- in 2005 and after a year’s total refurbishment the luxury 20m cruiser was launched in mid 2006 and continues to receive great reviews in the industry. Their commitment to ensuring a very personalised, caring and safe tour where guests are a “name” not a “number” is continually evident on both tours.

This company offers two personal Great Barrier Reef day tours departing from Cairns - Ocean Free offers a 25-guest sail, exclusive Great Barrier Reef site and Green Island experience and Ocean Freedom, an un-rushed six hours of reef time on two unique and wonderful Great Barrier Reef sites – “Wonder Wall”, on outer edge of Upolu Reef, and Upolu Cay reef with its crystal clear turquoise waters. Heron Island is known the world over for its excellent Great Barrier Reef dive sites. We have 20 sites to explore on the Heron and Wistari Reefs, only minutes away from the jetty.

The waters around Heron Island are relatively shallow (avg depth 10-15 metres) and are teeming with reef fish, turtles, reef sharks, and an endless variety of marine invertebrates. Mantas are typically seen in winter. Green turtles nest on the island from November to April. Around 60% of the 1,500 species of fish, and around 72% of the coral species found on the Great Barrier Reef call the waters around Heron Island home.

Heron Island caters to all levels of marine enthusiasts from the novice snorkeler to experienced divers, and offers PADI™ certified courses as well.
