Interresting dive site for the region. Quite deep. Water may be very(!) cold and visibility poor. If not experienced with bad conditions make sure you don't go to deep. The lake belongs to a private person. Access may become restricted or forbidden. On the Highway A5 take the Exit Lahr then direction Allmannsweier and Kürzell. At the intersection take a right turn instead of going in the direction of Kürzell.

In Grauelsbaumer / Baggersee has been about 3 years no longer dredged. The view is therefore quite good. At the swimming pool diving ban, however, is on the northern side (Sandy), you can remember without diving. There are also parking available at the lake. The lake is on the edge slightly. From the initial point, you can dive left or right. Here is a lot of vegetation and many juvenile fish cavort in the protection of trees and plants. Pike, carp, perch, Crabs, eels, determine the image of the animal in the lake. The view is, depending on the season and 0-10m depth. On weekends, the lake of the French used a lot of diving. Therefore, you should at an early stage on the lake, or only later. The view can be very close to. Grauelsbaum is also known as Grauelsbaumer Baggersee.

The wreck is covered all over with shells. There are two tables with data and facts at the wreck. The entrance is next to the Surfwiese. Swim until you reach buoy number 60 (swimming and snorkeling are prohibited in the buoy field), then 240 degrees and descend to about 20 to 22 meters. The introduction of the dive site is located near the tennis places for one Ueberlinger tennis clubs, hence the name. In the parking lot you can do comfortably finished and then walk the few steps to the lake. The site is very suitable for novices Lake because the lake there is relatively flat slopes. In the evening hours, many fish are found here. From an old shed out a disused slipway leading into the water, which ends at about 4 meters. By getting out from the beacon, one arrives at 40 meters to 2-3 meters long, the wreck of a sailing boat. At 20 meters, there will be another small wreck. Go to Überlingen-Nußdorf, then immediately turn in Überlingen sharp left after the railway crossing. After about 200 meters comes small parking lot, which holds about 30 vehicles.

Drive through Nußdorf into Überlingen, then immediately turn in Überlingen sharp left after the railway crossing. After about 200 meters comes a small parking lot, which holds about 30 vehicles. Here is the dive site "Tennisplaetze". Turn right and after a short walk from about 250 meters along the shore you will reach the Liebesinsel. Here you will find a couple park benches.

Careful: To dive in Leutesheim you now need a permit you can get from the city administration in Kehl. The police apparently makes frequent controls (they have your licence plates) and if you are caught diving without permit you face a serious fine. The lake is 35m. On the wall in the rear area of the lake's deeper, however. This wall is also a feast for the eyes, it is up to a depth of about 8-10. steeply sloping, but completely covered with sponges, then it goes vertically down to about 25m deep and with beautiful overhangs. In the designated bathing areas on the north side of the pond is diving ban. In all other areas is a minimum distance of 15m to the shore observed. The entry into the lake is only at the marked point on the northwestern part of the shore allowed. Diving is from 15 May to 15 November allowed during the period from 6:00-22:00 clock! This will be monitored! Attention!

The wall goes down to about 25-30 meters, where it maintains a stockpile deeper down into the lake. At this site there are many things that were placed there by divers, such as a mannequin, a telephone and a laminated erotic magazine. In the immediate vicinity of the mannequin is the wreck of a large rowboat with a garden gnome on the bow. Lots of boats anker during the summer time in front of the sea mark 24. Parking in the parking lot of the construction business "Baumarkt Graf ". The entrance is across the parking lot. Here is a rope attached to make it even possible to go down the very steep stairs with full equipment and back up to. Here you have to walk quiet a bit in shallow water to reach the "See-Zeichen 24". ( Sea-Mark 24 )
