We are an inclusive and multicultural team, and a family and animal friendly dive centre. We provide a full range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water to professional Divemaster training and Instructor IDCs, and TecRec technical diving. We offer unique conservation courses and initiatives. And of course, we do fun dives to Balicasag, Pamilacan, Napaling and Panglao!

Philippine Fun Divers, Inc. is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Resort. We opened our doors February 2008. Our location is along the famous 800m long Alona Beach (more or less at the center) in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines and we are in coexistence with Lost Horizon Beach Dive Resort (57 rooms). 

This location is very important in order to enjoy quick access to the ocean water. Since the reef ledge is in average 280m away from the shoreline, all dives are boat dives. Boat dives with our two 62 feet traditional Filipino Banca boats ‘Kaido’ and ‘Raku’ are usually conducted as day trips with two to three dives at different spots. The following dive sites are on our day trip list: Balicasag Island, Cabilao Island, Pamilacan Island and a few dive sites along the shores of Panglao Island, i.e. Doljo point and Puntod Island. With our two speedboats ‘Hayabusa’ and ‘Seeadler’ we venture out for single dives and PADI course dives. Night dives and early morning dives along our famous house reef are also conducted with our speedboats.

For PADI confined water training sessions, we are using a training pool within Lost Horizon Beach Dive Resort and soon another one at the new academy. We offer all PADI regular courses from experience courses like Bubble Maker or Discover Scuba Diver, entry level courses such as Open Water Course or Advanced Course, more advanced courses such as Rescue Diver and the first two professional courses Divemaster and Assistant Instructor until Instructor Development Courses. Specialty courses like EANx/Nitrox, Deep Diver, Sidemount, Digital Underwater Photography, Equipment Specialist, Night Diver, Search & Recovery, AWARE, etc. are also great continuing education undertakings we conduct at any requested time. We teach all courses in English, German, Japanese, Filipino, French, Spanish and Italian. 

Soon, we will be able to provide you with a separate center (The Martial Arts & Sports Academy Bohol) for Instructor Development Courses and other Padi courses. This academy will also include 14 Room Accommodations, a Bistro/Bar with an attached Restaurant, a Fitness Center, and a Dojo/Dojang with various Martial Arts Systems, and more.

We're one of the longest established scuba diving operators in the Visayas, the central part of the Philippines. Started in 1981 in Panagsama Beach, Moalboal, Cebu we now run five boats on our two bases in Moalboal, Cebu and Alona Beach, Bohol.
