From the parking you can go straight into the water. It is a bit of a climb on the slippery rocks, but is not hard. The sandy bottom is covered with rocks, which makes the life abundant and diverse. The slope goes down rather quick to about 30 meters. Lots of different nudibraches, anemones, big lobsters, a lot of crabs. Visibility is not always good, but it is a nice dive site. Be aware of the currents, you can only dive on the change of tides!!! Plompetoren is on the Plompetorenweg along the Oosterschelde, between Schelphoek and Burghsluis. Drive along the mainroad N59 coming from Zierikzee in the direction of Middelburg. Follow directions Burghsluis and from Burghsluis drive east, the water on your right-hand side. You will see the big tower which is called Plompetoren and the parking here. From the parking, you can go straight into the water.

Kerkweg Den Osse is one of the most famous (and most visited) dive sites in the Grevelingenmeer, a huge saltwater lake in Zeeland. Big parking, two mobile toilets, snack bar available. Stairs to cross the dyke and o help you into the water. Depth range from 2 meters to 30 meters. Most beautiful depth range is 5 to 15 meters. Artificial reef of reef balls placed in 2001, is now beautifully overgrown with anemones and houses a lot of lobsters, crabs and fishes.

Like most of the Zeeland dive sites, you'll have to make the stairway over the dike (entrance is about 30m behind the chippy). On the other side of the dike, head right, just across the sandy beach. There's a pool you need to swim through (the water isn't the best and in summertimes it's muddy; beware your gear is fixed propperly - visibility in this area is about 0!) Exit the pool and start / enjoy your dive along the wall.

lots and lots of anemones, lobsters, crabs it is possible to reach the site by foot, but is is a long walk. better take a boat from schelphoek. it is only 15 minutes. it is a shore dive, you start at 1 meter, but it drops very fast to 40-50 meters. it is even possible to go to 60 meters. the best zone is 20 meters. look for the bend in the dike Schelphoek is also known as Wevers Inlaag; Caroline.

The primary life here are Lobsters and Crabs. The lobsters were HUGE (2+ feet) and they were everywhere. There were many soft shell crabs 6-8 inches in diameter as well. There is a platform at 9M with a buoy. This is good for training etc and there is a railing around the platform. There is a wall of Reef-Balls to the south and east of the platform. These are like 3 foot metal whiffle balls and home to dozens of lobsters and crabs. Very interesting to explore and peek in all the holes. Entry and exit are easy, just be careful as the rocks can get a bit slick. One last note: Tanks can be filled 24/7 from an outside "vending machine" or automat located on the south end of the hotel/restaurant. The machine takes 0.50€ coins, and usually needs 5-6 to fill a 10L tank. Put the coins in one at a time, and you'll get a "squirt" of air for each one. There is a pressure gage on the machine, but it seems to read a little low. In any event, the machine won't fill past 200 bar, so the worst case is that you put in one coin too many, and get no more air. Park on the West side of the Marina in the town of Scharendijke. From there it's a short walk over the Dijke and down the rocky point. Enter the water at the end of the point. Scharendijke west is also known as Kabbelaarsrif.

There is a training platform located 30m out, directly in line with the steps. (heading 230). At low tide, the platform depth is 9m. At high tide, it is close to 12m. take A-4 off the north side of the Antwerp ring. At the "T" from A-4 to A-58, Take the Exit to the West then the first exit off of A-58 (N-659)toward Oesterdam. Cross the Dike to the far end and turn into the "beach" parking area. Follow the road around to the north side of the bay and park in the lot or along the grass. The dive site is a 200m walk around the dike to the steps decending into the bay. Oesterdam is also known as Bergse Diepsluis.

Het Zoommeer, dat in open verbinding met het Volkerakmeer staat via het Schelde-Rijnkanaal, is een zoet binnenmeer met een vast waterpeil. Voorheen maakte het gebied deel uit van de Oosterschelde, maar het is daarvan gescheiden door de aanleg van de Oesterdam. De aanleg van deze dam was noodzakelijk om een getijloze scheepvaartverbinding tussen Rotterdam en Antwerpen mogelijk te maken. Het Zoommeer heeft net als het Volkerakmeer sinds enige jaren in de zomer te kampen met extensieve blauwalgenbloei, waardoor veel watervogels sterven. De vogelbevolking vertoont grote overeenkomsten met het Volkerak. Net ten noorden van de Kreekraksluizen ligt een broedkolonie van de zwartkopmeeuw. Krakeenden pleisteren met name langs dijken en dammen. De slobeend wordt voornamelijk aangetroffen in het oostelijk deel van het gebied waar dekking bestaat van de oevervegetatie. De Prinsesseplaat is een voormalig slik- en schorgebied dat van belang is voor water- en wadvogels. Hier broedt onder meer de kluut. Beheer: Staatsbosbeheer. To access, enter from the first point, descend to 10M, and follow this line until the contour turns sharply to the south (150 meters of so) then get to about 8M and continue on the contour. You will get to the wreck before you know it. It's completely covered in shells and his home to Lobster, Crab, and Tadpole Fish. The wreck itself is a 5m metal boat that rests in 4-9 M of water. A great site to dive, but can be very busy at times. In 2008 this site has been renewed as a result of Shore improvements. It now has a stair leading into the water so getting in or out is easier instead of climbing over rocks

60 years ago the germans dropped a lot of ammunition in the water on this spot, leading to nice finds and strange compass-readings for the divers some years ago. Nowadays it's a nice spot, known for it's cuttlefish population around may-june. Ideal for a first dive, lots to see even if you don't go deeper than 15m (50ft). Small road on a dyke, just past a little harbour, can park in the grass next to the road Goesse Sas is also known as Sas van Goes.
