Established in 1978, Lahaina Divers is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center, providing Maui scuba diving excellence. 12+ dive options including Molokini crater and Backwall, hammerhead shark dive, Lanai cathedrals and coastline, sunken ship wrecks, turtle reef and more. We do it all! We operate the most comfortable and most reliable boats, Dominion and Dauntless, 46' Newton specials with twin Cummins 430 horsepower diesel engines. Our dive center is located in the heart of the historical town of Lahaina on the west side of Maui. In addition to diving the most sites of any operation on Maui, we also offer multi-dive discounts, options for disabled divers, Divemaster courses, PADI IDCs, Open Water certifications, referral completions and other professional dive training.

Along the entire South side of the island of Molokai lies the longest fringing reef in Hawaii. Seldom visited by divers, this natural sanctuary offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the islands. Pristine waters that team with wildlife including several species of rare fish and coral. Green sea turtles, rays, several types of sharks and colorful reef fish abound, as well as the numerous whales during the winter months. Based on weather and water conditions and the wishes of our guests, each trip is organized to provide the best possible dive experience. Several spectacular two tank sites are available, like the reef wall at Pala'au or any of several blue holes.

Maui Dive Shop prides itself on provided the best of fun and safe charters for both divers and snorkelers.  Our high-end SCUBA pool allows us to provide a unique opportunity for divers to try out SCUBA and test out skills before going into the Big Blue.  Our House Reef is an excellent location to conduct checkout dives or try out SCUBA diving for the first time! Once your certified, join us on a dive trip on our gorgeous vessel, the Maka Koa!

We specialize in small group, SCUBA diving trips to Molokini every day of the week. Maka Koa is our Pro 48' Dive Boat that takes up to 24 divers out of Maalaea Harbor. It's our V-Hull, twin-engine, jet driven vessel providing comfortable seating and amenities for a quick, safe, convenient ride to each dive location. Our boat is equipped with two marine heads (bathroom), fresh water shower, padded seating, hot and cold food, beverages, towels, reef-safe sunscreen, and all necessary safety equipment. Knowledgeable crewmembers will provide in-depth onboard briefings to familiarize you with the boat, our equipment, the dive sites, and the spectacular marine life.

The Scuba Shack provides brand new dive and snorkel gear for guests not having their own. We treat our guests well with new, state-of-the-art equipment. The BCD's are the newly re-designed weight-integrated Pro QD+ with the NEW Sea Quest Sure Lock Weight System. We complete the system with the best and most dependable regulator made the Aqualung Titan and the computers the crew uses to monitor the dives are Suunto Cobras.
